The Reeve's Tale
A dishonest miller lived with a wife, young woman daughter, and infant. Two college students nearby travel to his house to get their grain ground, and he tries to cheat them. They are too smart for him, but the miller unties their horses, so they must stay the evening at his house and this gives the miller more opportunity for dishonesty. The miller falls asleep soundly, and meanwhile one of the students makes love to his daughter, and the other student tricks the miller's wife into making love to him. The next morning, the students run off with his grain, but not before beating up the stupid miller.
