Summary
The priest's body is gathered from the street but Quasimodo is gone. Rumors claim that the sorcerer had finally paid the price to his demon and, as a result, the priest's body was not buried in consecrated ground. Louis XI died soon after, in August 1483. Pierre Gringoire saved the goat and finally achieved success as a dramatist of tragedy. Phoebus de Chateaupers got married.
