Summary
Relieved to return to the street, Jehan is overjoyed to hear his friend Captain Phoebus calling to him. He returns the call and his brother, Claude Frollo, overhearing the name "Phoebus" follows the two happy fellows as they gloat over the money in the purse and decide upon a proper drinking establishment at which to celebrate. He follows them and overhears Phoebus boast that he has a date with the gypsy girl that night. He shudders but continues to follow them.
